Refund Policy

At Roadwest Automotive Engine & Gearbox, customer satisfaction is important to us. We strive to supply quality engines, gearboxes, and automotive components that meet our customers’ expectations. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be approved.


1. Eligibility for Refunds

A refund request may be considered if:

  • The incorrect engine, gearbox, or automotive part was supplied by our company.
  • The product arrives with verified transport damage.
  • A confirmed manufacturing or internal mechanical defect is identified before installation.
  • The item delivered does not match the specifications stated on the customer’s confirmed order.

All refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving the goods.


2. Conditions for Refund Approval

To assess a refund request, customers may be required to provide:

  • The original invoice or proof of purchase.
  • Clear photographs or videos showing the issue.
  • The engine or gearbox serial number (where applicable).
  • A written explanation describing the problem.

Roadwest Automotive Engine & Gearbox reserves the right to inspect the returned product before approving any refund.


3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be granted for products that:

  • Have already been installed or fitted to a vehicle.
  • Have been dismantled, altered, or modified.
  • Were damaged due to incorrect installation or improper handling.
  • Were purchased in the wrong specification or model selected by the customer.
  • Show signs of misuse, overheating, neglect, or accident damage.
  • Are special-order or custom-sourced items unless proven defective before installation.

4. Return Inspection

Where a return is authorized, the product will undergo a technical inspection by our team.

If the inspection confirms that the claim is valid, we may:

  • Approve a full refund.
  • Provide a replacement product.
  • Offer an alternative solution deemed appropriate by management.

If the inspection finds that the issue falls outside this policy, the refund request may be declined.


5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to reflect, depending on your financial institution.

Delivery charges, customs fees, and transport costs are generally non-refundable unless the error resulted directly from Roadwest Automotive Engine & Gearbox.


6. Cancellations

Orders cancelled before dispatch may qualify for a refund, subject to any administrative or sourcing costs already incurred.

Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process outlined in this policy.


7. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Confirming vehicle compatibility before purchasing.
  • Ensuring installation is performed by a qualified mechanic.
  • Following manufacturer-recommended installation procedures.

Roadwest Automotive Engine & Gearbox accepts no responsibility for failures resulting from improper installation or external vehicle-related issues.
